Rosary Fest
The traditional October devotion to Blessed Virgin Mary, reciting Rosary as a community in the parish church for ten (10) days, begins on October 1st and ends on 10th.
Timings:
Saturdays: 10 am – Holy Qurbana, Novena to Mother of Perpetual Help, Rosary and Benediction
Sundays: 10:30 am – Holy Qurbana, Rosary and Benediction
Monday to Friday: 7:30 pm - Holy Qurbana, Rosary and Benediction
In Kerala Church, it is called "Doshaporuthy" (ദോഷപൊറുതി) meaning "Reparation for sinfulness".
Syro-Malabar faithful In Kerala and elsewhere have the practice of attending the Rosary Recital for all ten days and receiving the Sacrament of Penance (Confession) on one of these days.

CCD News
1. CCD classes will commence on September 18. There will be a blessing ceremony immediately following holy mass where parents escort their children enrolled in CCD class to the front of the altar. The priest then blesses the books and the teachers and parents bless/pray for their kids. Teachers of each class then distribute the text book to the children. After the ceremony, teachers (assigned on the day) will take the children to the classes, take attendance and do a quick "introduce each other" session. Class will be dismissed in 10-15 minutes that day.
From Sep 25 onwards, there will be regular CCD class at 9:25 AM.
2. All existing CCD students don't have to fill up registration forms this year. However, they will have to pay the annual CCD registration fee ($50) at the registration booth set up outside the church. The registration fee will be used towards purchasing books and other CCD material this academic year.
3. Any child that was not part of CCD last year will have to fill the registration form and pay the annual CCD registration fee ($50). Parents can either (a) print and fill out the registration form that is attached or (b) fill up the registration forms available at registration booth.
4. CCD registration will close on Sep 4, 2011
5. Registration booths will be open the next two Sundays - Aug 28 and Sep 4. Youth volunteers will take care of the CCD registration and set up the registration booths.
